YACG WI: Private Wealth and the M&A World

Nate Imfeld is an associate and commercial litigator with Foley & Lardner. He has represented clients in a wide variety of matters, including distributor disputes, False Claims Act and Sarbanes-Oxley whistleblower complaints, and commercial contract, loan guaranty, and minority shareholder litigation.

Prior to joining Foley, Nate served as judicial law clerk to Justice Annette K. Ziegler of the Wisconsin Supreme Court. During law school, Nate was an intern for both the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the Governor of Wisconsin in the Office of Legal Counsel.

John started his financial services career with The M&I Bank in Milwaukee, learning banking from the ground up. After 9 years with M&I, he and a business partner started Merit Financial Services, a boutique Mortgage Company serving high net worth clients. He later joined US Bank Wealth Management to continue in PWM, where he served as a Wealth Management Advisor to his clientele helping his clients grow and maintain their wealth, work with families on their estate and financial plans, and advise on family dynamics. In the spring of 2016, John was offered the chance to lead a PWM team in Milwaukee. This new opportunity with The PrivateBank allowed him to get back to his entrepreneurial roots, to lead and build a world class PWM team while working closely with the commercial banking partners and their clients.
