Peter Linn is a Managing Director at Marsh responsible for supporting and advancing client total cost of risk solutions through coordination with Marsh industry leaders, risk practice leaders, and external channels.   Peter has worked with industry leaders, risk managers, and safety professionals around the world on varied topics such as, digital engagement, leadership, safety management systems, and various EH&S topics in various industries, most recently focusing on risk and mitigation strategies associated with COVID-19.

Peter holds a BS in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Education with a concentration in asynchronous learning.  He also holds designations in Executive Leadership from Cornell University, and is a Six Sigma Black Belt.

Prior to joining Marsh, Peter served as the Chief Executive Officer of AXA MATRIX Risk Consultants Americas from 2014 – 2016. Prior to AXA, he was the Vice President of Risk Engineering at Zurich Insurance Company where among other duties he lead the national EH&S risk consulting team.

Therese is a senior consultant for the Workforce Strategies Practice of Marsh Risk Consulting, located in Morristown, New Jersey. She is responsible for the coordination and delivery of safety and health risk consulting services to her clients, which include a wide variety of industries. Areas of expertise include exposure assessments, occupational health, Occupational Health and Safety management systems, auditing and H&S turnaround, workers compensation, return-to-work and injury management, industrial hygiene, risk assessments, chemical safety, OSHA compliance, and supervisory and employee training. 

Therese joined Marsh in 2013. Previously, Therese served as the Corporate EHS Manager with over 25 years of experience in chemical and research and development companies.

As Marsh’s U.S. Employment Practices and Wage & Hour Liability Coverage Leader, Kelly Thoerig is primarily responsible for manuscripting EPL and Wage & Hour policies, leading policy and insurer new product reviews, and drafting endorsements. In addition, Kelly is a claims advocate for Marsh’s FINPRO practice, specializing in complex coverage and claims issues concerning employment practices liability, directors and officers, professional liability, cyber, crime, and fiduciary liability insurance. In both roles, she works closely with advisory professionals to deliver the best possible coverage afforded by the insurance markets, produces timely white papers and other content for internal and external distribution, and frequently presents at industry seminars on various insurance coverage topics.  Kelly is located in our Richmond, Virginia office.

Prior to joining Marsh in 2012, Kelly was an associate in the Directors & Officers Insurance Practice Group of Troutman Sanders LLP, where she counseled and litigated on behalf of insurer clients in coverage matters nationwide. Kelly represented insurers in complex disputes arising under directors and officers, employment practices, and professional liability insurance. Kelly was also a member of the firm’s White Collar & Government Investigations and Antitrust Practice Groups, where she defended antitrust and other commercial litigation matters, as well as criminal investigations and inquiries by securities regulators.  During her seven years as a litigator, Kelly tried multiple cases to verdict and successfully argued motions in a variety of Virginia state and federal court actions.
