C-Suite Accountability and Other Federal, State, and Cross-Border Enforcement Issues
Businesses today must navigate an increasingly complex web of applicable legislation at the federal, state, and local levels, as well as outside the US. This Roundtable will explore some of the most critical legal issues now confronting business leaders and their legal departments, including C-suite and gatekeeper liability, key reporting requirements, and current enforcement and compliance priorities.
Our discussion will focus on (i) the SEC’s 2023 Cybersecurity Disclosure Rules and recent guidance from the FTC and OFAC, (ii) key cybersecurity and privacy legislation at the state level, including recent developments in New York and New Jersey, and (iii) the unique challenges presented by cross-border investigations and enforcement.
