2024 - Recession or Credit Event:  One, Both, or Neither?

Join ACG New Jersey on November 14th for a panel discussion with restructuring professionals on what 2024 may hold for the middle market. Listen in and engage with the panel as we discuss recession risks, credit in a "higher for longer" environment, and what companies can do to protect themselves during times of uncertainty from the viewpoint of Restructuring Professionals who have seen companies stumble.

Discussion will include:

  • The potential for a recession in 2024
  • What industries are particularly vulnerable in a “higher for longer” environment?
  • Why corporate failures could surge in 2024 and the fall of the Zombie Companies.
  • Evolving lending terms and particular areas of risk for borrowers.
  • Steps to make sure your company doesn’t fall into full-blown crisis mode.

Who should attend and why:

  • Lenders – are your borrowers able to meet their obligations and will heretofore stable borrowers become compromised as rising rates take a bigger bite out of their operating profits?
  • Private Equity – are your portfolio companies positioned to withstand a “higher for longer” environment and are valuation adjustments impacting your exit plans?
  • Business owners - Restructuring professionals can be of enormous help in positioning your company to weather uncertainty, and in communicating to stakeholders that you are serious and proactive in your approach to managing through uncertainty.
