Businesses
Guest Speaker
Steven Gutkin
Deputy Director

Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness
New Jersey faces a complex, diverse, and fluid security environment. Home to the largest concentration of critical infrastructure and population density in the country, and chosen headquarter location for many Fortune 500 companies (such as J&J, Honeywell, Prudential, NRG Energy, Celgene, ToysR”Us”), New Jersey’s vulnerability to cybersecurity and terrorist attacks is evident in today’s evolving and often unpredictable threat environment. Post-9/11 era, we are better positioned to face these threats—from homegrown and global terrorism to natural disasters to cyber-attacks.
The New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness (NJOHSP) lead and coordinate New Jersey’s counterterrorism, cybersecurity, and emergency preparedness efforts. NJ Homeland Security Deputy Director, Steven Gutkin, will discuss the current terror and cyber threat landscape as well as how he has strengthened and focused his mission to affect the most desirable outcomes for New Jersey’s citizens, institutions, and businesses.
Join us to learn what is being done to protect you, your business, and the community.
