Overview
Lessons of Sandy?
While much has been done to rebuild and “harden” towns along the Jersey Shore, NJ Transit still hasn’t found a safe, dry location to store its rolling stock nor protect it’s critical rail bed infrastructure. And lower Manhattan remains woefully vulnerable. The current state of storm readiness in New York and New Jersey is questionable and the potential economic and structural impact unknown.
Join
us as our “in the know” panel of experts discuss transportation, water and
power distribution, fuel supplies, infrastructure and emergency preparedness,
and the associated risks and costs.
