Cybersecurity Demystified:
Avoiding and reacting to data breaches

The number of successful cyberattacks in the U.S. has grown 144% in the past four years. And 60% of SMBs that experience a data breach will fail within 12 months. As organizations around the world are hacked daily, these statistics are hitting closer to home.

It’s no longer a question of if, but when. Knowing and understanding what needs to get done in the event of an attack is a vital step to being prepared. Withum’s Cyber Secure Services team will demystify what comprises cyber security, and provide you with specific control recommendations on how to prevent attacks from happening. You’ll learn how to identify gaps in your current processes, how to right size controls to your organization using the NIST Framework and why having a written and rehearsed incident response plan should involve more than just your IT team.
