Christopher Brown, Northern California Regional President - BNY Mellon Wealth Management
Christopher Brown is Northern California Market President for BNY Mellon Wealth Management. Chris oversees a group of specialists based in San Francisco and Menlo Park to advise some of the most successful individuals and families in Northern California, helping them to enhance their wealth for generations to come. He plays an influential role in driving BNY Mellon’s business impact and growth in the community.
Drawing on more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Chris delivers the training and tools that support the development of thoughtful wealth management and cash flow strategies to meet clients’ long-term goals. Chris’s uncompromising integrity enables him to foster an environment of collaboration where colleagues and clients can both thrive and succeed.
Before joining BNY Mellon, Chris was Market Team Lead for J.P. Morgan Private Bank. His previous experience includes serving as a West Coast Head and Investment Officer for Veritable LP, a multibillion-dollar private investment office.
Chris earned a B.A. from Haverford College, where he was the varsity’s men's lacrosse captain and one of the top-10 graduating student-athletes. He holds an M.B.A from the University of California Berkeley.
Passionate about childhood education, Chris has served as a board member of several Bay Area non-profits and currently serves on the board of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Oakland.
Jeep Kline, Founding & Managing Partner - Raisewell Ventures
Jeep Kline is a seasoned venture capitalist, a senior executive at Intel and pre-IPO technology companies, a World Bank economist, and a faculty at UC Berkeley with more than 20 years of experience in the high-tech industry.
As a venture investor, Ms. Kline co-founded a venture capital fund investing in early-stage technology companies in Latin America, where she invested in notable impact-minded companies. She also served as a partner at a venture fund investing in early-stage high-growth companies across the US and Canada. Recently, she founded SeaSky Lab, an organization that brings knowledge and resources for tech entrepreneurs from Silicon Valley to Asia.
As an operating executive, Ms. Kline was the President of AHEAD Medicine – a life science company using machine learning for cell analysis – holding six global IPs. Prior to AHEAD Medicine, she was a senior executive at Intel Corp., where she pioneered, launched, and scaled the company’s first Android-based tablet device globally.
Ms. Kline was also an economist at The World Bank Group, where she supported Ministries of Finance in emerging markets to implement technology development projects in South America, Africa, Asia, and Eastern Europe. Ms. Kline is one of the first Thai women selected to lecture a popular MBA course Impact Venture Capital Investing – Sustainable & Impact Finance Curriculum – at the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley. She also serves Berkeley Skydeck, a top accelerator program, as an investor and Global Ambassador to 48 countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
Her board work includes AHEAD Medicine (biotech), The Circulate Initiative by Circulate Capital (climate tech), Dietz Co. (health tech), and Intel Alumni Network (global tech executives). She is also an advisor to selected founders/CEOs at The Alchemist Accelerator and UCSF Health Hub Incubation in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Helen Li, Managing Director - Needham & Company
Helen Li joined Needham & Company in 2011, with a primary focus on technology investment banking and Needham’s China practice. Helen has 20 years of combined operational and investment banking experience. While at Needham, Helen has advised over 70 transactions including public and private financings as well as M&As, with a total transaction size above $40 billion. Helen is specialized in cross-border IPOs and M&As involving complex deal structures and cross-cultural negotiation.
Prior to Needham, she worked in the semiconductor industry serving in multiple roles including R&D, technical marketing, and strategic sales at Micron Technology, Marvell Semiconductor and InvenSense.
Currently Helen also serves as a board member for two semiconductor companies: Alpha & Omega Semiconductor (NASDAQ: AOSL), a global supplier of a broad range of power semiconductors and Kandou, a leading player in high-speed connectivity solutions.
Ms. Li received her MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, MSEE from the University of Southern California, and B.A. from Tsinghua University.

Vishal Verma is a General Partner at Edgewood Ventures, LLC ( a single family office - www.edgewoodvp.com) and Redwood Collective, LLC (a fund of funds for venture - www.redwoodcollective.net). He is on the Board Directors / Advisors of Darwin Ventures, Fortinet, Opthealth and Witt Security.
Vishal is a Senior Advisor to Honorable Dick Gephardt and Honorable Secretary Michael Chertoff on their International Strategy.
Vishal is also the founder of Sidebar Summit a leading networking platform based in Silicon Valley (www.sidebarsummit.com)
Vishal continues to be an active member of The Chicago Club and The Indus Entrepreneurs. Vishal is a member of the US India Cyber-security Track 1.5 Dialogue hosted by the Council of Foreign Relations (CFR) and Observer Research Foundation (ORF).
Vishal is passionate about building strong education systems for our future. He is an active member on the Board of Trustees of the University of California at Merced (Merced, California), a member of the Leadership Council at the RFK Foundation and a member of Best Buddies.
While pursuing his MBA at Chicago Booth, Vishal founded the Hyde Park Angels to promote entrepreneurship in the Chicagoland area.
Vishal holds a B.S. degree in Marketing from Santa Clara University and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from the University Of Chicago Booth School Of Business.

Nicholas Sheets is an accomplished corporate lawyer who brings nearly a decade of experience advising Asia, U.S., and Latin America sponsors and
investors in the structuring, formation, and offering of private equity funds as well as co-investment activities and secondary transactions.
Nicholas’ practice primarily focuses on the representation of private equity sponsors in their fund formations, co-investments, and related activities, particularly in transactions involving Asia and the United States. Mr. Sheets, who is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, regularly counsels on large fund raises and has extensive experience working with some of the largest funds in Asia, including in China, Japan, South Korea, and Indonesia. He represents some of the most prominent private equity firms and leading financial institutions in the world. He also advises Limited Partners in their private equity investments.
