Mike Karim is Turntide’s Chief Financial Officer. As CFO, Mike oversees the financial planning and analysis, accounting, treasury, investor relations, legal and IT operations for Turntide. Mike joined Turntide in 2021 and was instrumental in supporting its inorganic acquisition integrations and growth fundraising efforts. Prior to joining Turntide, Mike held a variety of finance and operational leadership roles within The General Electric Company. Mike attended the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and Northwestern’s Kellogg school of management. His wife and three children currently reside in the Bay Area.

Prior to joining RSAC, Jason was the CFO of Medable where he helped raise over $500M in venture capital and played an instrumental role in scaling the business domestically and internationally through implementing financial strategies for responsible growth. Previously, Jason served Finance Executive positions at Intel and Wind River where he helped grow revenue and EBITDA margins while playing a critical role in the divestiture of the Wind River business unit to private investors. Jason has also served in finance leadership roles at Macromedia and Deloitte.

Melanie Kavanagh is the leader of CFGI’s Bay Area practice.  She provides accounting advisory and transaction services to public and private companies of all sizes, across various industries. 

Melanie has extensive experience supporting clients with their technical accounting, operational and SEC reporting needs.  She assists clients and leads CFGI engagement teams through complex transactions such as initial public offerings, acquisitions and debt and equity financings.  

Prior to joining CFGI, Melanie was a manager of consolidation reporting and a SOX analyst at a multibillion-dollar global food and beverage company that included extensive financial statement analysis, complex technical accounting and policy documentation and maintenance.  Additionally, she is an alumnus of Deloitte’s Boston and Chicago audit practices.
