Neal Okarter-Panelist

Neal Okarter is an Investment Manager with BASF Venture Capital, the corporate venture capital arm of the BASF group.  Neal’s main focus areas for investment are agtech and industrial biotech. Neal sits on the Board of Directors of four startups and is on the LP Advisory Committee for one accelerator.  Neal has also been a panelist at the Association for Corporate Growth’s Raleigh/Durham chapter meeting in 2022.  Prior to his time with BASF Venture Capital, Neal was part of the BASF Management Consulting team, the internal management consultancy of the BASF group.  Neal has a Bachelors degree in Nutrition Food and Agriculture and a PhD in Molecular Nutrition and Cell Biology, both from Cornell University, and an MBA from Rutgers Business School.
