Tamara Keefe is the CEO and Flavor Temptress at Clementine’s Naughty and Nice Ice Cream. Tamara appreciates ice cream and what it represents: community and moments of connection. Her life’s journey from a girl born into an economically disadvantaged family - growing up on food stamps - to a self-made ice cream entrepreneur is nothing short of extraordinary.

Keefe had over 25 years of experience working across global brands in the consumer packaged goods industry before deciding to invest her life savings into opening an ice cream shop in her St. Louis neighborhood. Clementine’s fantastical ice cream flavors and exceptional quality as a microcreamery have impressed shop visitors since 2015.

Keefe leads a team of 180 Clementine’s employees who operate across eight brick-and-mortar locations and a production and distribution facility in the heart of St. Louis. The 25,000-square-foot facility operates a national shipping program and can produce ice cream for fifty parlor locations. Clementine’s Naughty and Nice Ice Cream was named the Business of the Year 2022 by the St. Louis Development Corporation, and Keefe was named a Most Influential Business Woman of 2022 by the St. Louis Business Journal and honored with the Kim Tucci Heart of St. Louis Award by the St. Louis Civic Pride Foundation. She is a fellow of the Tory Burch and James Beard Foundations.
