Dave Spence

David Spence is a St. Louis native and presently Chairman of Legacy Packaging; a contract pharmaceutical packager in Earth City, MO.  He was founder and former CEO of Alpha Packaging, an Overland, MO based manufacturer of plastic bottles and jars, sold in 2010.  

Since its inception in 2004, Legacy has been committed to driving value for its customers by providing best in class Total Pharma Solutions.  Located in St. Louis, Missouri, the 190,000 sq ft cGMP packaging headquarters and 110,000 sq ft 3PL distribution services are centrally located, offering customers an ideal location for meeting all their packaging and distribution needs.  Legacy is registered with the FDA, holds a VAWD accreditation, and is licensed by the DEA to handle schedule II-V product.

Legacy was awarded the 2018 Made in Missouri Leadership Award for Domestic Growth from the Missouri Association for Manufacturers.  The Domestic Growth Award is presented to a Missouri based company for demonstrating new or significant domestic growth through products, services, operations and/or facilities.

Dave is married to Suzie Spence and they have four Children: Logan, 28, Tierney, 27, Paige, 25 and Keeley, 22.  Dave is heavily involved in the community.  His service includes:
