Ellen Kim

Ellen is an Operating Partner at Rotunda Capital Partners based out of the firm’s Bethesda office.  Rotunda is an operationally oriented lower middle market PE firm focused on transforming family-founder owned companies into data-driven platforms able to achieve and manage significant growth. Rotunda partners with management teams to build businesses within three primary sectors: value-added distribution, asset-light logistics and industrial, business and residential services. Ellen is responsible for working with Rotunda’s portfolio companies to enhance value creation and execute on the company’s strategy. She has served as Interim CFO for numerous portfolio companies and supports initiatives to position the companies for rapid growth.

Ellen’s professional experiences have spanned across the public and private sectors. Most recently, she was Chief Financial Officer of Roti Modern Mediterranean and a Director at AlixPartners.  Previously, Ellen was a political appointee at the US Small Business Administration, and she started her career in Public Finance at Citigroup. Ellen was a Marshall Memorial Fellow and American Council on Germany Fellow, and she is currently on the Board of the non-profit, Millennial Action Project. Ellen holds a B.S. in Economics from MIT and an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
