Alex Rafla

Alexander Rafla is a Principal at Clarendon Capital, a private equity firm in the Washington, DC area. In this role, Alex focuses on development of investment opportunities in middle market logistics, supply chain, transportation and distribution companies. He leads all stages of the investment life cycle including origination, due diligence, deal execution and portfolio company value creation initiatives. Alex brings a strategic approach and over 10 years of sector-specific experience to private equity investing. Over his career, he has worked across most T&L subsectors including parcel/last mile, air cargo, freight forwarding, intermodal, rail, trucking, warehousing and transportation infrastructure.

Alex is Board Director at Allstates WorldCargo, a freight forwarder, and American Expediting, a national provider of same day courier services focused on life sciences and medical customers.
