Includes presentation (in English) and open discussion on: 'Tax Insurance: an opportunity to create value'

Marsh and ICEN Risk will provide a broker's and underwriters' perspective on Tax Insurance and how this can be used as a tool to create value, either in an M&A transaction or otherwise. After a short introduction on Tax Insurance, the speakers will elaborate on the latest market trends, explain the value creation aspects and walk you through case studies. There will be time for discussion or questions at the end of the presentation or over lunch.

Dawn is the most experienced specialist tax underwriter in the European M&A market. She was previously a senior tax lawyer at leading international law firms Dentons LLP and Debevoise & Plimpton LLP. She was the first tax specialist to join the M&A insurance market and has led the way in creating and growing innovative tax specific insurance products that can create significant value on M&A deals. Dawn worked with Rob for many years at other syndicates before founding ICEN with him.

Joris joined the M&A insurance market in early 2014. Prior to joining ICEN Risk, Joris was responsible for leading and developing the Benelux M&A insurance business for a global broking specialist. Before advising clients on M&A insurance risks, he was an associate in the tax practice at leading Dutch law firm, Loyens & Loeff, advising international clients on corporate taxation in a diverse range of sectors. He was the first tax insurance broker in the Benelux and helped in creating and growing specific tax insurance solutions in this market.
