ACG St. Louis Corporate Peer Group Meeting (By Invitation Only)

Chris Krehmeyer is the President and CEO of Beyond Housing, a nationally recognized community development organization in St. Louis that works to strengthen families and transform under-resourced communities to create a stronger, more equitable, and prosperous St. Louis region for all.

Chris has served in this position at Beyond Housing since 1993. Under Chris’ leadership, the organization helps transform under-resourced communities through a comprehensive, holistic effort addressing housing, health, education, employment, economic development, and more. To date, Chris has helped raise and invest more than $150 million in the multiple communities within the Normandy schools footprint in North St. Louis County.

Chris has or currently sits on a variety of boards including Midwest Bank Centre, Community Builders Network of St. Louis, and Community Housing Capital. He is board chair of the national Home Matters movement and is the former chair of the National NeighborWorks Association Board.

Chris has been an adjunct faculty member at Washington University, taught at Webster University and has been recognized by the Ethical Society of St. Louis, the NAACP, and the St. Louis Business Journal. He is graduate of Washington University with a degree in Urban Studies in Arts and Sciences, and recently received an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from his alma mater.
