APRIL 17, 2025: CHICAGO – The Association for Corporate Growth® (ACG), a global organization focused on driving middle-market growth, announced today the merger of the ACG Connecticut chapter (ACG Connecticut) with the National Organization. Through their engaged Advisory Board, active members, and dynamic events, ACG Connecticut will continue to operate under local volunteer leader and staff control, while benefitting from the support, systems, and services of the ACG National Organization.
“Adding ACG Connecticut to our growing family of merged chapters – and bringing them closer together with ACG New York, ACG New Jersey and ACG Boston, already merged – supercharges ACG’s ability to drive growth and development across the Northeast,” said Brent Baxter, CEO of ACG. “This merger strengthens our ability to serve the dynamic middle-market community in Connecticut, the Tri-State area, and New England, creating new opportunities for collaboration, networking, and value creation.”
ACG Connecticut, with its robust network of professionals and influential Advisory Board, has long been a key player in the region's middle-market growth ecosystem. By merging with the National Organization, the chapter gains access to a wealth of additional resources, including industry-leading research, enhanced member services, and a wider platform for engagement on a regional and national level. This collaboration promises to deliver even more value to members through expanded programming, strategic events, and a stronger collective voice.
The merger comes at a time of dynamic growth for ACG, as the organization continues to expand its reach and enhance its ability to connect professionals, companies, and investors who drive business growth in the middle market.
"We are excited to partner with the ACG National Organization and build on the foundation we've established over the past twenty-five years in Connecticut," said Karin Kovacic, President of ACG Connecticut. "This merger will give our members access to a wider network of experts and industry leaders across the country, creating valuable opportunities for expanding their businesses and fostering broader collaboration."
Connecticut is the sixteenth chapter to join the National Organization. Merged chapters now represent 45% of ACG’s total membership. For chapters interested in learning more about merging, please contact Michael Rivera at MRivera@acg.org.
