Generative AI rapidly revolutionized the market, prompting companies to integrate this technology and spawning numerous startups. However, the gap between hype and reality raises questions about GenAI's true potential and ROI.  In this session, we'll explore  real-world applications of GenAI in Private Equity and beyond. Haley Altman, a former M&A attorney with extensive GenAI experience, and Anthony Bahr, Managing Director of Strategex's PE Practice, will examine GenAI's possibilities in transactions, managing risk in technology investments, evaluating AI solutions, and key ROI metrics.

Haley Altman is a corporate attorney, founder, and an advisor to many in the legal technology innovation space. Haley began her career in Big Law, first as an associate and then partner, moving into entrepreneurship as the founder of Doxly, Inc., which was acquired by Litera. There she moved up within the company to the role of global head of corporate development, and eventually helped lead 10 acquisitions.

Haley shifted to a strategic advisor consulting role at Litera, where she continues to support the leadership team and their M&A and product strategy. She also started a consulting business to build legal tech products. She uses her extensive experience as an entrepreneur and former lawyer to understand the technology, processes and workflows required to help lawyers, while maximizing client satisfaction.

Anthony is the Managing Director of Strategex’s private equity practice. He has worked with 100+ private equity firms on countless transactions to prevent deal failure and develop actionable strategies to jumpstart value creation.

Before joining Strategex, Anthony held senior-level positions at two leading market research firms where he specialized in insight, strategy, and innovation projects for global financial services, consumer packaged goods, and pharmaceutical clients.

A veteran of the United States Air Force, Anthony holds a B.B.A. in economics and international business from Loyola University Chicago, an M.S. in public policy from the University of Oklahoma as well as an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management. In his free time, Anthony volunteers with Operation HOPE, a non-profit dedicated to improving financial literacy.
