History of ACG Chicago

ACG Chicago was started in 1968 and was comprised substantially corporate executives expanding their firms through acquisitions. Reaching a couple hundred in size by the early 1990's, the organization began to focus on buyouts and financial acquisitions. By the end of the decade ACG Chicago led the way by introducing M&A conferences focused on deal making.

The leadership over the years have expanded on members' expertise in specific industries, geographic expansion, and various professional sectors to build one of the largest regional networks in ACG.

Today, the organization is proud to host events in healthcare, manufacturing, food and one of the oldest Capital Connections typically with over 200 firms hosting meeting areas to drive more middle market deal flow.

Join us as we continue to build innovative new opportunities for growth.
