Eric was selected to join Ernst & Young in the mid-90’s as they implemented a new discipline in client expansion and business development. He played a key role as a strategic business developer and coach in the pursuit and acquisition of high-growth, pre-IPO, entrepreneurial clients, and contributed to the sky rocketing growth of the practice. Years later while with Deloitte, Eric enjoyed huge success as the business development leader driving a multi-million-dollar engagement through the pursuit, attainment, and growth of a Fortune 5 energy client. He also led the strategic pursuit and successful growth of many Fortune 50 consumer products and healthcare clients as a business development coach and leader of multi-functional, high-performing pursuit teams.
For over 30 years, Eric has honed his craft in strategic selling and business development through critical active listening, problem solving, and relationship building skills while assisting professional services leaders, high performers, and entrepreneurs in growing their businesses. It is his passion to coach, mentor and develop high performers in their professional careers and see them grow to be leaders in their firms and the industry.
Eric graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance. He is a frequent speaker about leadership, growth, and stretching outside your comfort zone to achieve new heights personally and professionally.
Eric is also an endurance athlete having completed 13 marathons, twice qualifying for the Boston Marathon, 2 ultramarathons, many triathlons including a Half Ironman, and many multi-day, mountain adventure hikes. He and his wife Karen reside in Flower Mound, Texas.
