Aaron Myers

Aaron is a Managing Partner with Nextfed, where he leads strategic growth and M&A engagements on the behalf of corporations and investors active in the aerospace, defense and government services market.  He has over a decade of experience leading more than 200 consulting assignments including over 100 M&A-related engagements.  In addition to five years of experience at Nextfed, Aaron spent six years working for Washington, DC-based strategy consulting firm Avascent Group, where he worked primarily for large defense primes and highly acquisitive private equity funds active in the ADG market.

Prior to joining Nextfed, Aaron also spent two years working as an Investment Officer for a World Bank-backed private equity fund in Africa, where he was responsible for sourcing, negotiating, closing and managing portfolio companies across all market segments of economies in Sub-Saharan Africa, but focused extensively on the healthcare and logistics sectors.

Aaron also has public sector experience having worked briefly in the US Senate on Foreign Affairs-related issues and at the US Agency for International Development (USAID).

Aaron graduated from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service where he received a BS in Foreign Service with a concentration in International Security Studies.
