ACG National Capital Highlighted Events 

ACG Next Conference - February 
Explore how advanced technologies are automating, enhancing, and shaping the solutions of tomorrow across various GovCon sectors. Keynote addresses and panel discussions from former government leaders, titans of industry, and professional investors, explore how companies and investors can develop technologies and advance solutions to address emerging threats and global adversaries ensuring that the U.S. maintain a strategic advantage. It takes place in February.  

International Women’s Day Summit - March
An annual morning breakfast panel event on March 7 in honor of International Women's Day. You will hear stories and insights from a distinguished group of women who have pioneered, innovated and broken barriers in the government contracting space. 

Corporate Growth Awards - Gala in June 

Recognize excellence and outstanding achievements in the prior year for corporate growth with companies, deals, deal teams and executives which built corporate value through mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, organic growth, and capital financing. The Award Committee process begins in January with the Gala in June. 

Annual Golf Outing - October 
Taking place in the fall, ACG National Capital hosts an annual golf tournament at various golf clubs around the DC Metro Region. This is a half day event kicking off at noon with a networking and awards reception to follow.  

ACG NextGen – September to August 
ACG NextGen is for young professionals who are up and coming in their career and shows great promise yet does not qualify for ACG membership. Monthly educational or social activities in DC, Tysons, or Arlington that help you connect with others in the industry and help build your network – designed by a board of your peers.  The cohort lasts from September to August. 

ACG NextGen Details:  

  • Networking group for rising professionals who are 36 years or younger 
  • 100+ participants representing 60+ organizations 
  • Access to NextGen educational and social events (most all events are no charge) 
  • Access to all ACG National Capital chapter events at a discounted rate 
  • Access to ACG NextGen WhatsApp group  
  • Annual fee of $325 and the program year runs September to September
