Tom Hillman has been involved with private business enterprises over the course of his career, during which time he’s owned more than 30 companies in a wide variety of businesses. He is an active partner and catalyst in each investment opportunity with which he’s involved.

Mr. Hillman takes an active leadership role with each of FTL Capital’s current portfolio companies and is Executive Chairman of Pulse Therapeutics (biomedical company) and on the Board of Advisors for HealthPointCapital, LP (private equity firm specializing in orthopedics and dental implants) among others.

Mr. Hillman has previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Fresh Fish Co. (wholesale fish distributor), director of Answers (internet lead generation and search engine company), Co-president of America’s Water Heater Rentals, LLC (specialty finance company), founding shareholder and Board member of Hoover’s, Inc. (public business content and research company), and Founder/Partner/Director of Rainforest Aquaculture Products, Inc. (a tilapia fish producer).
