Tax Implications to Your Business and What Business Owners and CFO's Need to Know

Exclusive to c-level (CEO, CFO, COO) and Senior Executives. Please join us for a panel discussion on final tax reform provisions and what it means to you and your firm. Key learning objectives are: overview of changes to tax rates for corporations; potential limitations on the deductibility of interest and utilization of net operating losses (NOLs); and, understanding opportunities with regard to capital expenditures and asset acquisitions. Mark Bakko is a partner with the tax group of Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP and has been with the firm since 2001. He has public accounting and industry experience since 1984 including prior experience with an international firm and chief financial officer of a publicly held medical device and manufacturing company. He serves public, closely held and private equity owned companies and provides a broad range of services, including compliance, consulting and tax planning for both businesses and the individual owners of businesses.

David Gette, Tax Director, joined Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP in 2015. He specializes in transactional matters with a focus on tax consulting and reporting. He has extensive experience with tax due diligence as well as planning and structuring for business acquisition and disposition and post-deal integration. Prior to joining Baker Tilly, David spent more than twenty years with an international accounting firm and five years as a revenue agent for the IRS where he was involved with corporate, partnership and individual tax issues.
