Overview
Dear members and guests of ACG Holland,
Join ERM and ACG Holland for a lunch discussion around integrating climate change risks and opportunities into investment strategies and performance reporting.
The PRI initiative recognizes climate change as the highest priority ESG matter facing investors. The World Economic Forum (WEF) identified extreme weather events and failure of climate mitigation and adaptation as the top two risks with respect to probability of occurrence. Businesses are increasingly being exposed to climate change risks, which can significantly compromise their operations.
Stefano Bonelli, Climate Change Lead at ERM, will give a presentation then moderate discussion around how climate change has become a priority for the financial sector as a driver for value. Case studies presented will feature how generation of business value is achieved through assessing the materiality of climate-related factors, and how these are likely to evolve in the context of energy transition considering scenario analysis.
