How to refer members and earn rewards:
How do I qualify to receive one free year of membership dues?
Refer two new qualified members to ACG between April 1, 2024-June 30, 2024. When your two referrals have been approved for membership and their annual membership dues have been paid, your current expiration date will be extended one year free of charge.
How do I submit my referrals?
You must submit the names of your referrals prior to or during their application process using the online Member Referral form. The prospective new member will be tracked throughout the application process and the referral will be tied back to you for credit. Submissions will be received on a first come, first serve basis. If multiple members refer the same prospect, the first submission will receive the credit.
Can I refer more than two prospective members?
Yes. We encourage you to spread the word about the benefits of ACG membership! Since it takes at least two qualified members to be approved and membership dues paid, we recommend you submit multiple referrals. Only one complimentary year of membership will be awarded per active member. Referrals cannot be shared, and complimentary membership dues cannot be split.
Are there any promotional materials on ACG membership that I can share with prospective members?
Yes. Download the ACG Membership Benefits page or share the link to your chapter’s ACG website. If your chapter allows guests/non-members to attend ACG events, invite your prospects to an upcoming meeting or event with you. Find your local chapter here and reach out to chapter staff or volunteer leaders for more information.
Can I invite past ACG members to rejoin the association?
Yes. A past member may qualify as a new referral if their latest membership term expired on or before 12/31/2021.
Do my referrals need to apply for membership within the same chapter?
Yes. Due to variances in chapter dues structures and membership packages, the new members need to be within the same chapter.
Are there qualifications for membership?
Some chapters have an approval process with specific qualifications for membership. Approval chapters have the right to deny membership to applicants that do not meet their membership qualifications. Both referrals must be approved by the chapter and membership dues paid for the referring member to qualify for one complimentary year of membership.
