Charlie is a Managing Director and heads Fifth Third Securities’ Consumer Investment Banking group. He leads the Consumer team’s efforts in Franchising and has deep subsector expertise in Restaurants, Fitness, Consumer Services and Car Wash, among other multi-unit concepts. Charlie has executed sell-side and buy-side M&A, strategic advisory and private and public capital markets transactions totaling over $10 billion during his 25+ year career.

Prior to joining Fifth Third Securities in 2013, Charlie spent four years with Cary Street Partners, where he was a Managing Director and Head of Consumer & Retail. He started his investment banking career with The Robinson-Humphrey Company, subsequently SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. Prior to attending graduate school, Charlie worked as a Methods Analyst (industrial engineer) for Delta Airlines and was one of the first ten employees at ValuJet Airlines.

Charlie received a B.A. in Politics and Economics from Princeton University and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where he graduated beta gamma sigma.
