Committing to Community
A program of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Western Michigan targeted and developed for the training of the next generation of ACG leadership.
Program facilitated by Professional Association Resources
What is it?
Committing to Community is a program consisting of three training sessions that will cover the spectrum of what it takes to be a successful member of a nonprofit board. You will hear from local leaders, develop a deeper understanding of nonprofit board governance, learn about the many leadership styles often present in nonprofit boards, and gain valuable and practical tools that you will use in current and future leadership roles. This is an interactive training and you will be asked to share as much or as little as you would like about your experiences.
Why join a nonprofit board? What can you bring to the table? What's in it for you? What’s leadership got to do with it? Discover the answers to these questions and more - sign up today!
