Athina Filippopoulos is a Greek-American, Private Equity Analyst for K-2 Ventures. Athina supports K-2’s partners in all phases of the M&A process, as she is responsible for networking and business development, assisting portfolio companies, investor reporting, and financial modeling and analysis. Athina has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, she is an ACG Palm Beach Network Committee Member, and she is heavily involved with the Junior Achievement of Greater Miami, currently sitting on the Young Professionals Board as the Chair of PR & Marketing. Finally, she is an internationally accredited athlete with a strong sense of ethical competitiveness. Her athletic skillset includes being a Certified Professional Tennis & Pickleball instructor, as well as a Black Belt in Traditional Shotokan Karate."

Derek Campanella serves as an Associate Director and Leadership Advisor at The Siegfried Group, where he assists leading financial executives on the successful execution of their organization's most critical accounting and finance initiatives. A Certified Public Accountant, Derek holds a dual degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Maryland. Originally from Washington, DC, Derek moved to Florida in June 2020, as he likes to say, 'before it became the cool thing to do'. In his free time, Derek enjoys camping at national parks, road cycling along A1A, and is an avid cold plunger.
