Chris Weinmann, Attorney, Karr Tuttle Campell
Chris Weinmann chairs KTC’s business department, which includes 25 shareholders and associates with expertise in mergers and acquisitions, finance, government contracts, real estate, and tax.  Chris’ practice is split between serving as outside general counsel to small and large companies, across a variety of industries, and a mergers and acquisitions practice in which he assists companies interested in acquiring or selling businesses in larger negotiated transactions. As outside general counsel, Chris provides legal advice to clients on a variety of topics, as well as managing the client relationship more generally.  For efficiency purposes, KTC attorneys are trained to have broad experience and capabilities across a variety of industries and subject matters, in addition to specializing in narrower areas.  Chris has deep experience in mergers and acquisitions, contract terms and negotiations, and corporate governance, but also has many years of experience in real estate, fund formation, executive compensation, intellectual property, and other areas of business law.  He serves as a point of contact for his client’s legal needs, provides advice, manages the relationship, and refers the client to other attorneys at KTC with specific expertise as needed. Chris also guides his clients through larger transactions, on both buy-side and sell-side, managing every aspect of each deal.  Depending on the size and complexity of the transaction, he may draw on the expertise of other KTC specialists.  Through the span of Chris’s career,  he has honed his skills in this environment, requiring attention to detail, responsiveness, flexibility, judgment, and a broad understanding of his clients’ legal needs and business objectives.
