
Tammy Madsen is the M. Keck Foundation Professor of Strategic Management at the University of Santa Clara’s Leavey School of Business where she was once Associate Dean. She earned a PhD from UCLA (Strategy & Organization, Management) and her subsequent work has been at the intersection of strategy and innovation. She is the co-author of Modern Competitive Strategy (McGraw-Hill, 4th Edition, 2016). In a prior life she became a test and evaluation engineer for the F14’s weapon control systems after earning a BS in Mechanical Engineering (UC Santa Barbara) and an MS in Systems Management (USC).
