Rebecca Springer, PhD

Rebecca Springer is a private equity analyst at PitchBook. She writes PitchBook’s quarterly PE and M&A core reports and produces thematic research. Springer’s insights have been cited in Institutional Investor, and she has published several peer-reviewed academic papers. Prior to PitchBook, Springer was an analyst at Ithaka S+R, a strategy and research consultancy to the higher education and information science sectors. She was also a College Lecturer at the University of Oxford. Springer earned a bachelor’s degree from Yale University, a master’s from the University of Cambridge, and a doctorate from the University of Oxford. She is based in PitchBook’s Seattle office.
