- Discuss the different go-public strategies (We’ll do this as a ~5-10 minute overview with slides to kick off the event, then transition that into the first panel topic)
- The benefits and drawbacks of being a public company and the benefits and drawbacks of the different paths
- What makes a company attractive to investors
- Building out your infrastructure / human capital
- Identifying needs and creating a recruiting plan
- Compliance, Labor law, workers comp
- Policies and HR
- Include discussion on diversity & inclusion (in general, focus on board / management diversity, and impacts to companies as they have to become more market facing)
- Changes in culture – how to retain the Company’s mission, ingenuity and overall ‘vibe’
