Jay has a passion for working with San Diego business owners. His primary goal is to provide them with peace of mind that they have the capital they need to grow their companies. He accomplishes this by leveraging his commercial banking experience combined with his previous background as a finance professional in industry, a business owner, and a CPA.

Jason joined Primary Funding Corporation in 2012 and took over as President of the Company in 2013. Primary Funding provides businesses with growth capital that they cannot get from a traditional source. Prior to joining PFC Jason spent 16 years in commercial banking primarily with California Bank & Trust. During his years with CB&T Jason led a team of bankers that managed over $150 million in commercial loans and deposits. Jason earned a Bachelor’s in Finance from California State University Chico and graduated with honors from Pacific Coast Banking School.

Kurt is a Partner at West Partners, a San Diego-based investment firm making direct investments in private companies, responsible for sourcing, evaluating and structuring investment opportunities, as well as serving on the boards of portfolio companies. Kurt has over two decades private equity and investment banking experience focused on middle market companies across a diverse cross-section of industries, including software, technology, consumer products, retail, aerospace & defense, medical technology, wireless communications, wholesale, distribution, manufacturing and industrials.
