ACG Portland is privileged to have one of our members as the Peer Growth speaker on March 14th. Dorota Shortell, CEO of Simplexity Product Development, has been instrumental in organizing many of our past speakers and panels and is now our March speaker. Dorota started as an engineer with the company in 2006 and moved into the CEO role in 2010 to take over for the founder. Dorota holds a US patent and has been recognized by the Portland Business Journal as a 2013 Forty Under 40 winner and as one of the twelve 2017 Executives to Watch.
Simplexity is an engineering design firm specializing in the design of hardware such as IoT devices, wearables, smart products, 3D printers and biotech equipment. Simplexity has been chosen by some of the world’s most advanced technology companies as their engineering development partner, including HP, Microsoft, Nautilus, and Illumina. In 2017 Simplexity was selected by Inc. Magazine as one of the Best Workplaces in America and was listed on the Inc. 5000 fastest growing private companies.
