ACG Portland is privileged to have as one of its members as our January speaker. Marc Hill is the former CEO of Stella & Chewy's, a company known for producing high-quality, raw, and natural pet food. In his 7 years at the company, he played a significant in growing the brand's presence in the pet food industry. Hill's leadership is noted for focusing on both operational growth and the expansion of the company's market presence. He is skilled in building companies and transforming them.  

Earlier this year, Marc moved back to Portland and recently joined Borgman Capital as Managing Director. Following a great career leading both public and private equity-backed companies, he now will be sitting on the side of the private equity ecosystem,

His past experiences include both public and Private Equity including soft goods, hard goods, and food. He served as President and CEO of outdoor recreation equipment supplier Coleman, CEO of the U.S. Playing Card Co., owner of the Bicycle brand, and Divisional Senior Vice President at Techtronic Industries Co. Ltd., the parent company of Milwaukee Tool. He started his career with Black and Decker and helped launch DeWalt in Europe.

Marc is a graduate of Charles H. Lundquist College of Business at the University of Oregon.
