Boom Supersonic is redefining commercial flight by bringing supersonic flight back to the skies with Overture. Before it flies, it needs to be built, and that will happen in Greensboro at the 400,000 sq. ft. facility being built at Piedmont Triad International Airport. Booms says it will bring more than 1,750 jobs to North Carolina by 2030, expanding to a total of more than 2,400 jobs by 2032. North Carolina economists estimate that the Overture Superfactory will grow the state's economy by at least $32.3 billion over 20 years.

Chris Taylor, Boom's Vice President of Manufacturing for the Overture Program, is responsible for developing the manufacturing facilities, process, and delivering completed aircraft into the flight test program and ultimately to their customers. Chris will provide us an update on the facility, an overview of where the company plans to grow, and what it all means for the Piedmont Triad and North Carolina.
