ACG PIEDMONT TRIAD

Manufacturing in the Piedmont – 2024 Outlook

The Piedmont Triad has been known throughout the 20th Century for its textile, furniture, and cigarette products.

But as the century draws to a close, area manufacturing is much more than that. In the 11 north-central North Carolina counties that unofficially make up the Triad, factories daily spew out hundreds of different products - from fishing lures to yachts, from plain lamps to elaborate chandeliers, from nails to brick, from tree stands for deer hunters to parachute fabric for the Army's Airborne troopers.

It's enough to make the Triad one of the nation's foremost manufacturing areas.

The Triad ranks among the top five metropolitan statistical areas in the country in its percentage of manufacturing jobs to total jobs and that makes our December panel a very important one. The outlook for this core sector into 2024 will be the main topic of discussion during our luncheon. We are pleased to welcome a great lineup of local C-levels from area manufacturers.

Panelists:

Adam Duggins – Managing Partner, New Page Capital/Owner, Jet-Hot Performance Coatings

AJ Eaker - Treasurer & Interim Chief Financial Officer, Unifi

Chuck Keeley – President, CGR Products

Geoff Foster – CEO/President, Core Technology Molding Corp

Moderator:

Sean Curley - Managing Partner, Charles Aries Transaction Services

Be sure to join us on December 14 for this powerful locally focused discussion.
