Kristen Williams is an accomplished human resources executive with more than 20 years of experience with top-tier financial services firms.
Most recently, Kristen served as a Managing Director and Global Head of Recruiting for Blackstone from 2014-2019. In this role, she was responsible for the strategic direction and execution of firm-wide hiring and talent assessment across all investment and corporate functions. While at Blackstone, Kristen repositioned of the firm’s most active human capital practice, resulting in increased operational efficiency and technology innovation. Kristen also developed and led diversity and inclusion efforts focused on increasing gender diversity, including developing a strategic partnership with Girls Who Invest.
Prior to joining Blackstone, Kristen spent 11 years at Bank of America holding various strategic human resource roles including Global Head of Campus Recruiting for the institutional and wealth management business and HR business partner roles supporting global market risk and technology. Previously, Kristen was a Vice President at JP Morgan where she managed campus recruiting and the Investment Banking analyst and associate programs. She held a similar role at Ernst and Young Management Consulting.
Kristen received her B.S. from the University of Scranton where she majored in International Studies. She is a former member of the National Alumni Board and is a member of the University’s President’s Business Council.
Kristen lives in Manhattan with her husband Dan and their two children.
