Joanna Reiss

Joanna Reiss is Partner, Co-Lead of Impact at Apollo Global Management, Inc. Prior to joining, she served as Co-Lead of Impact for Cornell Capital, a private equity firm where she was a partner since founding in 2013. At Cornell Capital, she invested across the industrial, financial and consumer sectors and served as a member of the Investment Committee. In addition to her investing role, Joanna launched and led the Firm’s ESG program, which included policy development and implementation across investment diligence and ownership.

Joanna began her career at Goldman Sachs in the Investment Banking and Merchant Banking divisions, and subsequently served as an analyst at Merchants’ Gate Capital. A graduate of the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, Joanna serves on the board of directors of Smart and Final, and previously served on the boards of Monolith Materials and Corelle Brands.
