Join us for an insightful and thought provoking conversation led by Mary Kathleen Flynn, Editor-in-Chief, Mergers and Acquisitions Magazine, with Christina Spade, CFO of Showtime and Jane Dubin, Broadway Producer.  Christina will share her wisdom learned as she rose through the ranks at Showtime and other high profile networks.  She will also discuss how she uses her own brand to make a difference for other women in her organization.  Jane will talk about her leap from the investment management world to Broadway producer, and the challenges and lessons learned along the way. There will be an opportunity for Q&A.

Christina Spade serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Showtime Networks Inc.  She is responsible for all financial matters relating to Showtime Networks' businesses, and oversees the finance and strategy for the network's divisions including budgeting, planning, forecasting and accounting of all the business segments within SNI. A vital member of Showtime Networks’ senior management team, Spade also serves as one of SNI's primary liaisons to the CBS Corporation.  Showtime Networks is one of CBS Corporation's largest divisions and a key generator of revenue. Spade also oversees the network's information technology division and serves as a member of the board for Smithsonian Channel™.

Spade previously served as Senior Vice President, Affiliate Finance and Business Operations for Showtime Networks Inc., where she led the financial and business operations’ management of distribution revenue and sales, marketing and creative expenses for SNI. Spade has worked in different capacities at Showtime Networks during her over 19 years with the Company, including programming finance leadership and as a key steward of the successful implementation of various financial, operational and reporting systems.  Prior to joining SHOWTIME, Spade was an Audit Manager with Pricewaterhouse Coopers in the Entertainment, Media and Communications practice.

She is currently an executive member of the Board of Directors for the T. Howard Foundation as Treasurer.

Spade is a CPA and graduated with a B.A. in Accounting from St. Joseph’s University.

Producer and President

JANE DUBIN is a TONY Award-winning producer and the President of Double Play Connections, a theatrical production and management company committed to supporting emerging artists and playwrights in the creation and development of new works. Jane is a graduate of the Commercial Theatre Institute's 14-week (NYC) and O’Neill Center Intensive (CT) Producing Workshops and co-Director of Theater Resources Unlimited’s Producer Development Program Master Class.

Productions: Bandstand (currently on Broadway), An American in Paris (4 TONY Awards, now on Tour and in London), Absolute Brightness of Leonard Pelkey (Westside Theater and currently on Tour).  Upcoming 2017-18: Fingersmith (ART/Boston and Broadway). Previously: Peter and the Starcatcher (Broadway, Off-Broadway, National Tour), winner of 5 TONY Awards; Ann, starring Holland Taylor (Lincoln Center); The Umbrellas of Cherbourg (London); The 39 Steps (OB, Tour); The Norman Conquests (TONY Award, Best Play Revival), Groundswell (the New Group), Beebo Brinker Chronicles (2008 GLAAD Media Award for Theatre).

Ms. Dubin is a full voting member of the Broadway League. She is Vice-President of the Board of Directors of Houses on the Moon Theater Company and a Board member of the League of Professional Theatre Women. For two years she was co-curator of the Hudson Valley Writers’ Center New Play Reading Series. She co-produced Hudson River Rising, presenting events in Westchester for One Billion Rising (V-Day) 2013 and 2014.  She was a strategic consultant to SPACE on Ryder Farm, an artists’ residency in Brewster, NY and a member of the Grand Jury for New York Musical Festival’s 2015, 2016 and upcoming 2017 seasons.

Before embarking on her career in theater, Ms. Dubin spent over 20 years in the financial services industry.  Trained as an actuary, she was a Managing Director at Equitable Capital Management Corporation (a subsidiary of Equitable Life) and then principal of a private investment firm, as the Director of Marketing and Client Services.  Dubin has an MBA in Finance from NYU and is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Rochester, with a BA in Mathematics and an MS in Public Policy Analysis.   While at Rochester, she was awarded an internship at the White House.

Mary Kathleen Flynn joined SourceMedia in 2011 as Editor-in-Chief of Mergers & Acquisitions, which covers all aspects of the middle market, including private equity, corporate dealmaking, investment banking and lending. Flynn oversees editorial content for the brand on all platforms, including the website, www.TheMiddleMarket.com, which draws more than 50,000 unique monthly visitors, and the monthly magazine, which is published in partnership with the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG). Flynn manages the brand’s presence on social media and at events, often conducting video interviews with high-profile sources. Flynn’s previous positions include senior editor and senior video producer at The Deal, where she covered venture capital and private equity. Prior to focusing on financial services, Flynn covered technology, serving as an on-camera correspondent for CNN and MSNBC and a print reporter for U.S. News & World Report and PC Magazine.
