Ryan Jackson

Partner, Private Equity Services

Ryan Jackson is a Partner in CrossCountry’s New York office supporting the firm’s national Private Equity practice. With more than 20 years of public accounting and private equity-industry experience across a wide range of industry sectors, he works closely with private equity firms and portfolio companies to deliver best-in-class outcomes tied to business and fund performance. Ryan also works alongside firm leadership to help articulate growth and business development strategies nationwide.

Prior to joining CrossCountry, Ryan served on the Finance Operations leadership team at Transom Capital Group where he partnered with portfolio company executive leadership teams on financial reporting and compliance, cashflow management, execution of strategic initiatives, and delivery of cross-functional operating efficiencies. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers before serving in various executive-level finance and strategy roles at private equity portfolio companies in the United States and United Kingdom.

Ryan has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Cape Town and is a registered accountant in the United States, South Africa, and England & Wales.

David Jurgens

CrossCountry Consulting

Director, Private Equity

Dave Jurgens is a Director in CrossCountry Consulting’s national Private Equity practice. He has over 13 years of experience collaborating with clients across a broad range of industries and sizes to develop, initiate, and implement operational strategies and financial solutions for performance improvement within the office of the CFO.

Prior to joining CrossCountry, Dave spent ten years with Alvarez & Marsal’s Turnaround & Restructuring practice and three years with FTI Consulting’s Corporate Finance practice, where he advised companies with the development, execution and monitoring of monthly, multi-segment and multi-year strategic business plan forecasts; conducted liquidity assessments and optimized working capital, including developing 13-week cash flow forecasts; implemented management and KPI reporting enhancements; and supported the execution of other performance improvement and cost control initiatives.

Dave earned a master’s degree in accounting and a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Illinois.

ABOUT THE SERIES

This ACG New York Private Equity Roundtable is a quarterly private dinner that hosts speakers to address topics that provide services and information designed to help PE firms operate their business (regulatory, management assessment techniques, sales performance improvement, developing strong investor relationships, fund raising, etc.). It is not designed to cover areas of interest in the Business Development Sector or Financial Controls. ACG NY provides other venues for these latter two disciplines.

These meetings are open only to Private Equity Firms and subject to the following criteria: North American funds with Committed Funds in excess of $100mm. Attendance is limited to one member from the PE firm at the Partner/ MD level who has firm-wide responsibilities that may include Business Development but NOT exclusively Business Development. Membership is on an annual basis and limited to 30 members.
