Cornelia Cheng

Cornelia is a Managing Director on the Investments Team of direct lending fund Brightwood Capital Advisers. Brightwood has invested over $4 billion in middle-market companies across five industries: Healthcare Services, Tech/Media/Telecom, Business Services, Franchising and Transportation & Logistics. Cornelia is based in Los Angeles and focuses on providing debt and minority equity in non-sponsored and sponsored deals across the US western region. Cornelia previously held roles with Prudential Private Capital, CIBC World Markets and First Interstate Bank.  

Cornelia is a Board Director of LTC Properties, Inc. (NYSE: LTC) and chairs its ESG Committee.  She is a Board Director of ACG Los Angeles and chairs its Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. Cornelia also co-chairs the ACG Global DEI Task Force.  She is a former Board of Trustee of the Archer School for Girls and a former Board Director of the Los Angeles Junior Chamber of Commerce.  Education: BA, University of California, Riverside; MBA, The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
