ACG Boston is excited to announce a partnership with The Boston Club, an influential community advancing women leaders, offering connection, access, and professional development. Among the Club’s key initiatives are increasing the participation of women on corporate and nonprofit boards; providing topical programs; board readiness education and conducting research on issues affecting women in business. This partnership will provide valuable resources to the ACG Boston member community and beyond.

Research has found that companies with the highest representation of women in senior leadership have better financial performance than companies with the lowest representation of women, in both return on equity (35 percent higher) and total return to shareholders (34 percent higher).

If you would like suggestions of senior female executives as corporate board candidates (including portfolio companies’ boards), the Corporate Board Committee (CBC) of The Boston Club can help.

The Boston Club, New England’s largest organization of senior executive and professional women, has been focused on advancing women into leadership positions for over 40 years. One of its most long-standing initiatives is increasing the numbers of women appointed to corporate boards of directors through the CBC’s board education programs, outreach to corporate leaders and influencers, and identification and referral of qualified women to fill board openings.

The CBC has supported hundreds of board searches and placed more than 100 women on corporate boards. It can suggest highly-qualified candidates for private or public companies worldwide. To surface candidate suggestions, the CBC draws from its extensive database of senior women executives, the networks of CBC members, and The Boston Club’s affiliation with many other women’s professional associations. There is no charge for this service, which also refers candidates for corporate advisory boards. For further information, please contact info@thebostonclub.com.
