Travis Haynes is a Managing Director with Balmoral Funds, a private equity fund focused on partnering with successful entrepreneurs, executives and operating advisors creating transformative, revitalizing change in the businesses they co-invest in together. Balmoral has approximately $1.5 billion of assets under management. Balmoral typically invests in companies that have revenues between $30 to $500 million and require equity investments of $10 to $100 million, with the capability of investing an additional $100 million or more in particularly compelling opportunities.

Prior to Balmoral, Travis served as a Vice President at Platinum Equity, a private equity firm headquartered in Beverly Hills, for 13 years. As a member of Platinum’s mergers and acquisitions team, Travis pursued new platform acquisitions in the US and Europe. He has extensive experience in review and analysis as well as governance of the investment approach and process. Travis serves on the board of Enesco LLC.

Doug Banty

Doug Banty is the President and Chief Operating Officer of MGM Transformer Company, one of the largest transformer manufacturers in North America. He oversees MGM’s worldwide operations including manufacturing facilities in Los Angeles, California and Tijuana, MX, and distribution center in San Diego, California. Doug also leads the Sales, Procurement, and IT departments. Since joining in 2019, he has been instrumental in growing revenues by 150% through expansion efforts into high growth sectors such as Data Center, Renewable Energy, and EV Charging.

Before joining MGM in 2019, Doug was a Manager at Bain & Company where he specialized in Operations, Post-Merger Integration, and M&A in the Private Equity, Industrials, and Tech practices.

Doug holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Harvard Business School and Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University.

Prior to joining NDS, Mike consulted with Bain & Co. and subsequently held business leadership positions with Campbell Soup, ARAMARK, and portfolio companies of Summit Partners, Weston Presidio, and Graham Partners.

Mike received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Princeton University and his MBA from Stanford Business School.

Jeremiah has more than 15 years of experience originating, managing and executing M&A transactions. In addition to transaction responsibilities, he is a founding principal and active in management and development activities for the firm, including training and recruiting.

Throughout his middle-market investment banking career, Jeremiah has executed transactions in a variety of industries and sectors, including manufacturing, distribution, business services, healthcare services and consumer products.

Prior to co-founding Intrepid, he was a Vice President at Barrington Associates, a specialty investment bank and one of the most respected middle-market M&A advisory firms in the United States. In 2006, Wells Fargo Securities acquired Barrington to serve as the M&A advisory platform of the bank.
