This month we celebrate Adam Wicks for our FCL Spotlight. Adam works in the Corporate Finance Section of the Pittsburgh office of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney. There, he advises clients from startups to publicly-traded companies on financings, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and federal and state securities law compliance. His clients vary in industries such as technology, manufacturing, security alarm, sports, and the nonprofit sector.
He is an active member of ACG and works with various Pittsburgh-based venture capital and private equity firms. In addition to his typical duties, Adam does marketing work for Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney and is very focused on client relationships.
People know Adam as a truly genuine person - a "shirt off his back" type of guy. He completed the 2015 Pittsburgh Marathon and has a pitbull named Porter. According to Jack Surma of Tecum Capital, "He is (generally speaking) an OK softball team captain” and “is not as good at golf as me."
