ACG ASA's Monthly Lunchtime Virtual Meeting on 7/28/21

This monthly lunchtime virtual meeting replaces our in-person monthly lunch until we are able to safely gather again. Each month we will have a short educational program followed by facilitated peer to peer networking.

For our July program we're focusing on “Texodus” - the ongoing saga of corporate America’s great Texas migration.

We’ve all heard that things are bigger in Texas, but what’s really driving the migration of companies to Texas? Is it lower corporate tax rates? The affordability of building or renting space? Recruitment of talent based on affordability of living? Or is it as simple as BBQ and breakfast tacos?

Come hear from the experts as we discuss the many reasons that companies are moving to Texas. Hear first-hand from business owners who have made the move and what their experience has been like. You won’t want to miss it!

There is no charge to attend, but advance registration is required. Login link will be provided in the registration confirmation email.

Kim Fabiano Fassetta

AfterShokz
Chief Marketing Officer

I am a passionate leader obsessed with connecting people, building relationships, cultivating community, and providing opportunity. I approach all business opportunities with an entrepreneurial spirit and growth mindset focused on creative problem-solving.

My experience includes a broad swath of Business Development, Brand Strategy and Positioning, Content Marketing, Communications, Product Development, Product Launches, Public Relations, and Advertising and Sales. I’ve worked within small and large organizations, crafting partnerships and programs, and spearheading org-wide GTM strategies.

WHERE I SHINE
One of my greatest joys is bringing people together on a shared vision. My energy inspires creativity, my transparency encourages trust, I persevere with a blend of grit and grace — and for better or worse, I always lead with heart. I have a gift for cultivating talent and putting the right people in the right seats. I encourage constant personal and professional development, cross-training, and am a natural optimist and networker.

WHERE I STRUGGLE
My kryptonite is financial analysis, so I’m much more effective working alongside a CFO with patience and willingness to own budget management. Continuing to do things as they’ve always been done without rethinking (even when it’s not broken) makes me restless, and I’m a risk-taker (even when I can’t support my gut instinct with data).
