Peter Calamari

Peter Calamari has been a Managing Director of Platte River Equity since the beginning of 2008, and currently leads the firm’s investments in Industrial Products & Services sectors. For the past 20 years, Peter has been a private equity investor in industrial, energy and service-based operating companies.  Prior to joining Platte River Equity, Peter was a Principal at Vestar Capital Partners, and previously was an analyst with the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Merrill Lynch.

Peter has served on numerous non-profit boards around Colorado and currently sits on the Boards of the Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation, the Public School Permanent Fund Investment Board and the Oversight Committee for the CLIMBER Loan Fund.  

Peter holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in Economics from Yale University.  Peter and his wife live in Denver and have three children.
