Harold L. Martin, Jr. is an investor in and CEO of Taco Mac, an Atlanta-based chain of sports bars that operates 27 locations across Georgia and Tennessee.

In 2018, Harold partnered with Fresh Hospitality to acquire Taco Mac from CIC Partners, a Dallas-based private equity fund. Since the acquisition, Harold has successfully transformed the 40-year old company and re-positioned it for long-term growth. In 2019, Taco Mac received the GRACE award for Restaurateur of the Year (large corporate category) from the Georgia Restaurant Association.

Immediately prior to leading the acquisition of Taco Mac, Harold served as Interim President of Morehouse College, where he continues to serve as a member of the Board of Trustees.  

Harold began his career as a management consultant in the Atlanta Office of McKinsey & Company.  As an Associate Partner and leader in the Firm's Consumer Practice, Harold primarily served food and beverage clients on topics related to growth strategy, post-merger integration, and transformational change management. 

Harold earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a J.D. from Yale Law School.  Harold also graduated Valedictorian from Morehouse College with a B.A. in Business Administration.

Harold lives in Atlanta with his wife, Kirstyn, and their two children, Harold III and Serena.  Harold is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), an alumnus of Leadership Atlanta, and serves on the boards of Morehouse College, Camp Twin Lakes, and Bar Louie. Harold is also the owner of Mary Mac's Tea Room and Highland Cigar Company in Atlanta.
