Ken Salazar served as the 50th US Secretary of the Interior and Colorado US Senator and Attorney General. Ken’s law practice at WilmerHale includes State Attorney General investigations and enforcement matters, corporate governance, and crisis management and response. As Secretary, Mr. Salazar led the nation's efforts to develop and implement the framework for America's energy independence. The effort included overseeing the exploration and development of conventional and renewable energy resources on public lands and oceans, working on matters relating to climate change, and overhauling the regulatory oversight of oil and gas exploration and production. As a US Senator, Ken coauthored the most significant energy legal framework in US history. As Attorney General, Ken served as the top legal officer for the State of Colorado and oversaw thousands of civil and criminal legal matters and investigations before state and federal courts, including the State Supreme Court and the US Supreme Court. Mr. Salazar serves on the Board of Directors of the Target Corporation and on the Board of Trustees of the Mayo Clinic.

Rob Lehman, with more than 20 years of experience on Capitol Hill, advises on government relations and developing and implementing strategies to help clients achieve their objectives in Congress and in federal agencies. As former Chief of Staff to Senator Rob Portman (R-OH), he led the strategic development and implementation of Senator Portman’s legislative priorities, including the introduction of 65 bipartisan bills. Rob also previously served as Chief of Staff for Senator Portman when he served as the US Trade Representative in the Bush Administration and after that role, as Chief of Staff for the White House Office of Management and Budget.

David Ross is a partner in WilmerHale’s International Trade practice group. His practice draws on his extensive experience in trade negotiation and international dispute settlement to assist clients in the removal of market access barriers and other impediments to exporting goods and services and investing around the world. He also provides trade policy advice on a wide variety of matters, including US legislation, trade remedies and the negotiation of international agreements. He previously served as international trade counsel for the Senate Finance Committee and as Associate General Counsel in the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR).
